Tuskast Icelandic Horse Farm

About Us

Tuskast Icelandic Horse Farm is a family run hobby farm nestled in the foothills of East Abbotsford. Established since 2001, Tuskast Icelandic Horse Farm has become the primary promoter of Icelandic Horse in the Lower Mainland. We are actively involved in organizing and participating in shows, demos, evaluations, and we support all related activities.

The Icelandic Horse is our passion and our goal is to encourage and breed to the highest Chanelinternational standard according to theFEIF (International Federation of Icelandic Horse Associations). We breed, train, and sell purebred Icelandic Horses. Our horses are exposed to many aspects of urban life, as well as trail and arena work.

We will help find the horse for you whether it is from our small stock of horses, or from other farms.

Our newest member of the Tuskast Team: Mathilde

We like to officially welcome Mathilde, our new trainer from Denmark. She arrived in August to train our horses and we call ourselves lucky to have a working with us until Christmas. She is 19 years old and finished high school in June where she practiced both high level soccer and Icelandic horse riding. She has 15 own horses at home and worked with Icelandic horses most of her life. She competed at the Danish Championships for the past three years and won a silver medal in pace race. You will meet Mathilde in the riding lessons as well as on the riding tours.
